Standardized Set-point Acupuncture for Migraines.
Conclusions These results indicate that not only did acupuncture decrease both the frequency and intensity of migraines, but also the benefit had not subsided for 12 wks after the final acupuncture session. Auricular Acupuncture for the Treatment of Pediatric Migraines in the Emergency Department
Conclusions With all subjects showing improvement or resolution of migraine headache, this pilot study introduces an alternative intervention to pediatric migraine management. Further studies are needed to evaluate the duration of symptom resolution and comparative effectiveness; auricular acupuncture seems to be a valid alternative.
